Hey there, I'm Ashwin Krishnakumar—but you can call me Ash. Online, I go by inkwash across various platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
I'm the Founder and CTO of Airtory, where we've built industry-leading adtech products including selfserveplus.com, adctv.com, and socialdisplay.com. My co-founder Julian and I bootstrapped Airtory into profitability with minimal external investment. Today, our technology powers advertising experiences for top publishers like Sports Illustrated, Forbes, and the New York Post.
Professional Expertise
I specialize in rapid prototyping and bringing tech products to market quickly. I have deep knowledge of adtech ecosystem standards (VAST, VPAID, MRAID, SIMID, ORTB, Prebid) and enjoy solving complex technical challenges. When I'm not coding for work, I tinker with electronics and microcontrollers, bringing physical projects to life.
My philosophy is simple:
- Build it, ship it, repeat.
- Mediocrity is cancer. Identify it early and eliminate it.
- "Jugaad" is not engineering. I dont wish to be associated with it.
- Sometimes taking a break is the best solution.
Life Beyond Code
When I'm not building digital products, you'll find me at Wilder Farms—my four-acre jungle farm where we cultivate beans, corn, and other crops. I've built a fully off-grid container cabin there that serves as my sanctuary.
My greatest joy comes from spending time with my wife and partner, Sonal, and our three-year-old Shih Tzu, Ziggy (aka Diggalu), who rules our hearts and home.

I've traveled to over 20 countries and am actively working to expand that list. Each new destination brings fresh perspectives that influence both my personal outlook and professional approach.
